2025 Summer Camp
Scranton Girls Rock is a transformative summer camp experience for girls and gender-diverse youth ages 7–17. Our mission is to empower young people through music, creativity, and community. No musical experience is required—just a willingness to try something new and be yourself.
Campers will form bands, write original songs, try out instruments, create art, and perform live—building confidence, teamwork, and self-expression along the way.
What Campers Experience:
- Daily instrument instruction in guitar, bass, drums, keys, or vocals
- Band formation and collaborative songwriting
- Music and self-expression workshops led by local women and gender-diverse mentors
- Visual art activities, movement breaks, and community-building sessions
- A welcoming and inclusive space rooted in creativity, respect, and fun
- Healthy snacks and supervision are provided throughout the day

Final Showcase:
Campers will perform their original songs live at our Community Showcase on Saturday, July 19 at the Ritz Theater in Scranton. Family, friends, and community members are welcome to attend.
